You got Talent RULES
Eligibility:
        United States Citizens

·        Legal permanent resident of the United States

·        Posses a current employment authorization card.

·        Any Act member under the age of 18 as of the start date of the submission panel must have his or her parent or legal guardian’s permission to participate in the contest.

·         No act will be permitted that includes anything that may be harmful (knives-fire-snakes- aerial …etc) this is at the discretion Power 106 and the Watertown Mall.

Video Submission Guidelines:  No Video needed for You Got Talent

“You Got Talent” Rules

·        Follow all guidelines of “NBC’s America’s Got Talent”

NO VIDEO IS REQUIRED FOR U GOT TALENT

·        One time entry fee:  $20 per act

(will include T-Shirt for each member of act preregistered)

·        Must check  date/s  you will compete

·        Must check in at Preliminary Contest; Not before one hour of preliminary start time, NO later than one-half hour before preliminary start time.

·        Each act will have a maximum of 15 minutes on stage from when their name is called.

·        All judge’s decisions are final.

·        Scoring from judges will NOT be shown to contestants.


Preliminary Winners:
·        First place winning Acts will compete in finals on August 9th.

·        2 Wild Card contestants will be chosen from preliminary contestants that did not qualify for finals.


Grand Finale: August 9th,  6:00pm  Watertown Mall (center court)

·        MUST REGISTRER 1 HOUR BEFORE CONTEST

·        Gift pack for top three Acts:

·        Trophies for “Winner” – 1st -   2nd -  3rd  runner-up

·        1st Place runner up will receive the grand prize if the “WINNER”  is unable to attend on set date.

WINNER WILL RECEIVE AIRFARE FOR 2 AND ACCOMINDATIONS TO NBC’S AMERICA’S GOT TALENT AUDITION

            50%  Talent                                      10 % Stage Presence/charisma

            10% Marketing ability                  10% Originality of Performance

Act may compete until they receive first place at  preliminary competition.  At that time they are included in the final competition on August 9th

  Regulations:

·        By submitting entry form for U GOT TALENT: Power 106 and any affiliated business of You Got Talent, has the right to utilize the Act’s name, likeness, image, voice, appearance, an performance in perpetuity worldwide for advertising trade or any other lawful promotional purposes whatsoever, in any and all media now known or thereafter developed, with out compensation. I/We also grant Power 106 the right to broadcast, market, sell and otherwise distribute my name, image, likeness, voice, appearance and performance, either in whole or in parts for commercial, non-commercial television, close-circuit exhibition, home video distribution, internet or any other purpose Power 106, in their sole discretion may determine. I/We hereby give all clearance, copyright or otherwise, for the use of my name, likeness, image, voice, appearance and performance embodied in my/our performance/stage presentation.  If under 18 years of age, parent or guardian must sign the entry form.

·        By submitting this entry form, the Act, (and each individual member thereof) assumes all risks of property damage or bodily injury (including death) that might occur during the said local and National event. The Act agrees not to bring against Power 106 or other sponsors any claim for property damage or bodily injury that might occur during local or national said events.

·        I/we have not performed on a record listed in Billboard, Radio, and Records or the Gavin Report within eighteen months preceding local competition. 

·        I have paid the $20 registration fee before performing in the local contest.

·        I am/we are not an owner, controlling stockholder or employee of and I am/we are not related by birth or marriage, nor do I/we live in the same household as the local judges, the radio station sponsoring the local contest, or affiliated sponsors of You Got Talent, or any employee, controlling stockholder, owner, officer or agent of any of the foregoing parties.

SENIOR LINKAGE LINE

The Senior Linkage Line helps connecte people to services in the community and provides the assistance to help a person get the information and personalized help that is needed to make good decisions.  This includes providing face to face help in the home and community.  The Senior Linkage Line has expertise in the areas of:

**  Medicare
**  Prescription drug expense assistance for Minnesotans of all ages
**  Health Insurance counseling
**  Forms assistance including help applying for Medical Assistance and Medicare options
**  Long Term Care Insurance, including long term care partnership
**  Long Term Care planning options
**  Caregiver planning and support

The Senior Linkage Line has trained specialists and volunteers available in your area to help answer questions and simplify your life.  The outreach specialist in your area is at the Ortonville Public Library.  A trained specialist or volunteer is available the first Friday of each month from 1pm to 2pm in Ortonville.  You can also contact the Senior Linkage Line at 1-800-333-2433 if you need to schedule help with a specialist or volunteer at a different time and/or location.
