The Ortonville Public Library is open Monday – Thursday 11 – 7 p.m.; Friday 12 – 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 – 3 p.m. We are closed on Sundays.
The children’s story time is held at 3:30 after school. The programs will then be held every first and third Thursday through May.
The City of Ortonville has an ordinance that states that between Main Street and Third Avenue is designated two hour parking. Therefore, the signs will be going up on the street by the library for 2 hour parking between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Reminder the parking in front of the building is 30 minutes only. The Police Department will be enforcing the parking ordinance. As you noticed in the Ortonville Independent, parking fines are increasing to $25. Please watch where you park and make sure you keep it to the two hours or the 30 minutes to avoid any parking fines.
The next Spotlight on Technology will be held on Thursday, February 2 at 6 p.m. hosted by Radio Shack. The topic this month will be Routers and Wireless Internet. This is a free workshop and open to all to attend. Please reregister at the library and also mention any specific topic you would like covered.
